1.2) rent 15 000 came from bank, 3000 accrual? what was the right answer? does anyone know?

I have no idea how you can recall that much detail! I went blank almost as soon as I stepped out of the exam!
The only thing I disagree on is that the Rent included an accrual from the previous year, so I calculated it as:
Rent paid (Bank) £15000
less accrual (previous yr end) £1000
less prepymt (this yr) £2000
= £12000
It was really easy to miss though. I find the wording of some questions a little misleading - like the part-ex, took me ages to be sure of what had actually happened.0 -

As far as I can remember, section 1 had 10 questions and
2.1 was about the adjustments to the trial balance:
a)depreciation reducing balance I think 826(15804-12500)*25%?
b)
c)the part ex
d)the dep charge for the new vehicle
e)the writing off of bad debt =£400
f)provision for D/D (5600-400)*2%
2.2 The P&L a/c?
2.3 The BS?

When I left the exam I couldn't remember anything about Section 1 - let alone what the questions were.0
