I was just wondering how others have written the course on their CV? also, would you write NVQ3 or NVQ level 3? thanks in advance

    I wrote something along the lines of:

    AAT Intermediate/NVQ Accounting Level 3

    I have just completed my NVQ Level Two (Foundation) and on my CV I wrote it as:

    Accounting NVQ Level Two/AAT Foundation

    Hi all
    I am hoping to move into accounts soon but at the moment I'm working in a diff environment. Hopefully I will be completing AAT Advance certificate level by next June/July 2006. How does that count compared to having an experience in accounts? Does anyone have an experience of(or know of) a successful move into accounts as a result of their AAT studies? Your help will be very much appreciated.

    It seems to me that in accounting, any experience in any accounting related role is appreciated by an employer. But having the AAT with it gives him more of an incentive to take you for a harder more demanding role even if you have had no practical experience in that particular field.

    Of course this at technician level and below and applys more to industry than it does to practice.
