what exactly is needed to complete the intermediate level ??

eg

i have done the exams but i was just wondering what else exactly needs to be done eg sims etc

    Hi

    You also need to do three simulations/skills tests:

    Preparing Reports and Returns
    Evaluating Cost and Revenues
    and Financial Records and Accounts

    Basically you have to produce a portfolio of evidence using skills tests, sometimes work based evidence if you can (not necessary if you can't) and extra questions which your college provide you with to cover missing elements.
    You can get the portfolio sheets off this website under resources I think or publications something like that. Did your college not send you the sheets???

    You've done the hard bit anyway by completing the exams. I'm just about finished just waiting for my ECR skills test to come back signed off.

    Doing technician now fun fun!!!

    thats the only thing my tutor is saying that you only need to complete unit 6 or something sim and thats it you dont need to do any other sims but im pretty sure you do :( at least im not going back there anyway

    Bummer your tutor doesn't sound very good maybe you should contact the AAT if that's the advice their giving unless you've got some prior learning that exempts you. There seem to be a lot of stories of bad tutors and colleges maybe people should be letting the AAT know so other students don't pay their money and get poor teaching.

    I'm sure the AAT could help you find out who you could do the skills tests through having done the exams.

    thanks tori i just gave them a rang and because im doing the advanced diploma then i have to do these new units to do but at least i donthave to do the ecr and fra skills tests which are a nightmare !!!

    Operating a cash management and credit control system Skills test - i think this is unit 6 they have just brought it forward from technician

    31 * Accounting work skills - Skills test
    32 * Professional ethics for accounting technicians (new unit) Skills test to whjich i might even leave to technician level as its costing alot

    is unit 31 maths do you reckon cos if so i will pass that no probs especially as i have my first A level math exam tomorrow so im pretty high on numbers right now.
