I have registered for ACCA and have been given exemption from 1.3. I am awaiting my last AAT exam result in Feb when I will get 1.1 & 1.2 as well. I know that ACCA have an extended deadline for AAT's registering exemptions, but does anyone know how long for and what the process is.
Thanks
Steve

Re:ACCA EXEMPTIONS
Hi Steve
I have had an email from ACCA and FTC to say that we have until the end of Feb (28/02/06), you should have sent all current SOA's PLUS a letter from your college/assessor to say that all units are completed to ACCA by 31/12/05 deadline. I sent everything on 5/1/06 and am still waiting to hear back from them, apparently I just have to wait and see whether it will be accepted. Just telephoned and it still hasnt been processed on to the system so was told to ring back next week, it can take up to 4 weeks to get notification of acceptance.
Hope this helps

Re:ACCA EXEMPTIONS
As long as you have your MSP done aswell.
Visit www.acca.co.uk to see about deadlines etc.
AAT students get an extension as results arent posted till after ACCA's deadline.
Hope this helps.0 -
Re:ACCA EXEMPTIONS
Hi
I have also got my exemption from qand will be exempt from 1.1 & 1.2 if I pass DFS in Feb. I asked ACCA about when I can sit my exams at level 2 they told me I can sit in June 2006 providing they have my statement of acheivement by the end of Feb 06 as I am already a registered student with ACCA. They have also advised me if I pass AAT I am to ring the Glasgow office and fax over my SOA in order for it to be processed quicker. I asked them about a letter from my college and they told me this would not be accepted - only official correspondence from AAT is accepted as they are the awarding body for the qualification.
Hope this helps
