Has anyone recently done the proper AAT simulation? i wasn't very happy with it as it was completely different to the simulations i have previously practiced. I thought it was a lot harder. The cashbook was set out on two different pages so i got confused even more. Anyone else think this?

    I did a simulation just before Christmas, it was recording income and receipts. I found it very similar to the Tubney mock sim in the workbook.

    Which subject was your simulation on?

    It was Unit 3 - preparing a trial balance. i thought it was a lot more complicated and harder than the exam in unit 3.

    Hi Katie.

    The skills tests are always harder than the Centrals, that's why you get longer to do them!

    I did Simulations for Units 3 and 4. The one for unit three I found difficult but the one for unit four i thought was very simular to the practise one's I'd done

    i just think it does not seem fair that this Unit 3 simulation was harder than previous simulations. The previous ones i did were a lot more straight forward whereas this one seemed like it was trying to catch you out.
