Screen Print Unit 21

I still cant get my pc to do a 'print screen' of the initial windows logon page for unit 21, it is driving me mental. Any assistance would be appreciated....please!

    Hi Debb.

    Have you tried 'Alt + Print Screen', then paste it into a Word document?

    Or just "print screen" if you want the whole screen.

    No I haven tried that, I am trying to get the logon screen when you go into the nertowrk, if I press sreen print and then go to a word doc there is no paste function on the right click, it loses it from outside the network sonewhere

    Instead of right click to paste in word
    Try

    CTRL V

    I know this may sound like I'm being condescending - and I apologise as that is not what I'm trying to do - but are you holding the "Alt" button down whilst pressing the "Prnt Scrn" button? Alternatively, try holding the "Ctrl" button down whilst pressing the "Prnt Scrn" button. These should then give you a right click in word for the paste option.

    You are not offending me at all... I am just trying to sort this and I am baffled..?

    I am trying to get a screen print of my password entered into the intital windows xp login to the pc. I have tried all the methods I can think of, and I thought I was pretty computer literate.. but can't seem to get it done.

    Ah, I think the problem may well be the fact that you are not logged in! Do you have a digital camera (or mobile) so that you can take a photo rather than a screen print which you can transfer to your pc/laptop?

    One way you may be able to get around this is by setting youre screen saver to show the login screen when you try to finish the screen saver and get back to the desktop....
