Hello everyone
this has been bugging me for ages, during decembers fra exam I calculated the gross & net profit incorrectly in section 2 of the exam. The mistake was due to an error in section 2.2 where I debited a journal adjustment instead of crediting the adjustment.
Is it still possible to pass the exam, please help.javascript:emoticon('')

Re:FRA EXAM Results
as far as i know if you make an error but carry through the error you made through the rest of the task you willonly loss ne mark forthe first error

Re:FRA EXAM Results
My lecturer is also an AAT marker and she stresses that if you make a mistake they only mark it down the once. If you continue to do everything else correctly even though you have used that wrong figure you will still be marked as doing it correctly. If this makes sense.
Hope this puts your mind at rest a bit. Good luck with your results0 -
Re:FRA EXAM Results
I agree with Grit Fielding,
You will lost a mark or two for your error but carried forward errors cannot be penalised again.
Just remember - you aint' gonna get 100% in any exam you do (though you could I suppose!) As long as you have got the basics down you won't have a problem I assure you.
Good luck in the next couple of weeks. You will be fine.
Regards

Re:FRA EXAM Results
I made a mistake in part 2 as well. If I remember rightly I debited the bank with the cost of a new vehicle, when according to my classmates it had already been debited. As a result my P&L and BS were up the swanny. I'm 90% sure they will fail me but will still be absolutely gutted when I see it in black and white. I can't tell you how much I swatted for that exam too.....0 -
Re:FRA EXAM Results
Thanks for all the advice, I suppose I won't be happy until the results are in black & white too. Only a week to go.

Hi Cherry,
You must be the first person to post your result. Congratualtions. I have been up most of the night. I feel as if my heart is going to jump out of my chest this morning. Well done.
