Hiya,

I dont know if anyone can help. Ive got my unit 1 and 2 sim a week on monday and I just wondered if anyone has any easy ways of remembering what entries go where (DR/CR) for the cash book and the payroll account. As I kind of strugglling to remember. I can remember the cash book entries but those two are doing my head in.

    hi..

    you might want to use this as some sort of formula for working out what are debits and what are credits.

    PEARLS

    P-purcases
    E-expenses
    A-ssets

    (these are always debit entries in the accounts)

    R-revenue
    L-liabilities
    S-sales

    (these are all credit entries in the accounts)
