I have just passed PEV and failed PCR. I am hoping to sit personal tax, and financial statements in June. Can anyone tell me how these next two units compare, with the two I have sat, as I do not know what to expect!

    I found DFS the hardest of the Technician units, I did this one it's own and I'm glad I did!
    But then, I'd say that personal tax was the easiest unit, quite a short unit, I did both tax units together as there's quite a bit of overlap. Hope this helps! :D

    yes i agree, DFS is quite a hefty unit, although i did this and PTC together.

    DFS is very intense, and the standards are changing to International Standards for the June exam, so there is quite a lot of "bumpf" to read up on about SSAPs, FRS's etc

    I found DFS really hateful and PTC was a really straightforward one.

    Well done for passing PEV, I am due to do PEV/PCR in June
