:D I PASSED DFS AND PCR BUT FAILED PEV, BUT SOUNDS LIKE ALOT OF PEOPLE DID THIS TIME, VERY ODD, MAYBE THEY SHOULD CHECK BACK ALL THE PAPERS AND MAKE SURE THERE WAS NO ERRORS IN THE MARKING.
SO JUST PEV TO RE-SIT FOR THE THIRD TIME THEN THAT'LL BE AAT FINISHED, YIPEE.

    I have failed DFS & PCR for the 1st time. Never failed an exam before can't believe it.

    What i dont understand is i actually thought i did ok.

    Have you taken DFS & PCR before? :cry:

    YEAH HAD TAKEN THEM BOTH BEFORE, THIS SITTING WAS MY SECOND TIME FOR ALL OF THEM. I THOUGHT I'D DONE OK IN PEV THIS TIME AS WELL BUT NOT AS GOOD AS I THOUGHT CAUSE ITS ON TO SITTING NUMBER 3! OUCH!

    I know how you feel is's so horrible when you fail an exam especially if most of your class has passed, it took me 2 attempts to pass DFS and 3 to pass PCR (strange as I found this subject the easiest). Keep going though cos it's such a wonderful feeling when you see the words 'Successful' and you know it's finally all over.

    Iv got PTC, BTC & PEV in june and i think ill do the resits in Dec.

    thankyou very much, heard from class mates and i think they all have passed. which i worse.dont get me wrong im pleased for them but makes me feel shocking.

    I know, there was only 3 of us in my class who failed PCR, as you say you are pleased for them but feel really gutted for yourself, which is totally understandable!
    I was really naffed off for weeks especially as you have worked so hard, you just have to keep putting yourself through it until you pass, which you will.

    Yes amazingly enough, I started the course at Intermediate level and had already booked my wedding in America, I came home 2 weeks before the exams so had 2 full weekends of revision, still can't believe I passed them as I struggled through the whole course!!
    Still can't get me head round T accounts, how bizarre is that :!:

    CONGRATULATIONS NIKKI,
    IHAVE PASSED ALL OF MY EXAMS EXCEPT RECORDING FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, I JUST CAN'T SEEM TO PASS THE INTERPRETATION PART OF THE PAPER.

    I'M FINE ON THE CALCULATIONS.

    Failed PEV passed BTC - really disappointed.
    How much is an appeal?

    Hi

    Sorry you failed the PEV, but at least you have the BTC behind you now. Our tutor said that the AAT mark all the papers then decide what the pass mark will be. All the papers which are just below the pass mark are re-checked to make sure that they shouldn't have been a pass and that's why the AAT charge for re checking. Unless you're really sure that you shouldn't have failed he says that appealing is a waste of money - but of course it's up to you. Good luck with either the appeal or the re-sit.
