Is anyone else doing Foundation finding that there is NO accounting work to do? In November it was all piled on me when I barely knew anything, now all I'm doing is filing and being my boss' servant! Is it just me or is it a slow time of year?

    Yeah its after all the Jan year end tax returns, which was manic now thats all passed we're really quiet. All im doing in licking and sticking envelopes now!!

    Gosh - Wish i was that quite, work in a fairly large Company, got lots to do for year end and have auditors in next week..............all week. Accountant is well busy. At least i can look forward to my week off in March...............yipee!

    I work for a large company too - they're definitely keeping me busy! We've got our auditors in until around March time!! :shock:

    Still, I think I would rather be busy - makes the day go faster! :-)

    I don't know who's luckiest! I think I'd rather be busy than throwing my bosses teabags in the bin for her! I wasn't even busy when the tax returns were in, they must think im incompetent or something :P

    Hope you're all having fun anyway no matter what you're doing!

    Hi,

    Wish I was quiet, its crazy in the office where I work at, and I have got so much work to do it means that I am falling behind on my college work as I am working late of a night to catch up. (But I would rather be busy than it be quiet!!)

    I'd be fine if I even had some coursework to do, but we've been so quiet that i've done all my coursework at work ahnd i'm up to date! I have absolutely nothing to do!

    It gets worse! I've been asked to do the engagement letters and all I do now is re-load the paper while they're run off. I'm so bored it's driving me crazy!

    Hi nick

    I work for a large company but in a small branch - Thomas Westcott Chartered Accountants. I think everyones quite quiet but it would be nice to have SOMETHING to do, even if it was just a few analyses or something for my colleagues jobs. But they're just not offering and I'm forgetting everything that I've learnt!

    Whats your project?
