Re:Study Buddy
The oldest programmes i ever watched first time round are Neighbours, Eastenders, Coronation Street and Home and Away! It was the only time my mum would put the TV on, the rest of the time we would have the radio on! In fact the first song i ever learnt to sing was Pretty Woman and i was 4!

Re:Study Buddy
Why is it they show It Ain't Half Hot Mum where a white person plays an Asian and yet The Black and White Minstrel Show isn't?
Why can a sit com like Love Thy Neighbour be condemned which showed racism in a grossly exaggerated fashion and then it's prime time entertainment for an S Club reject to query whether the reason all Indians are thin are because they eat with their fingers?
If that was the case, we'd all be size zero in this country. Have you ever seen anyone eat a KFC, Burger King or McD with a knife and fork? Hmmm, thought not!
Furthermore, why is racism a one-way issue? Didn't Jermaine Jackson call Jade's mum white trash?
I used to love the old 70s sit coms though, not really a patch on stuff these days. Come on, a frontal lobotomy is funnier than My Family!!!!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Crumbs, Malcolm's fallen off the rails and decided to combine three different threads into one!
Must be an age related thing! (One more for the melting pot!)

Unless they meant it in its original form - i.e. happy?

Re:Study Buddy
No because if they had then my mumm would have explained it to me like that and not telling me the other meaning!
Oh well i will just ask her tonight if she remembers it! Knowing me i probably dreamed the whole thing!

Was it the one by Sixpence None The Richer? The one with the harmonica riff after the chorus?0
