Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Just a little reminder;
Remember what happened to ToadFace guys. Although I didn't see every insult he posted about me that night, I've heard it was pretty awful.
Maybe time to calm down now? :P0 -
Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Blank i think you are completely out of order on this! You are only damaging your own reputation among fellow students and AAT members.0 -
Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
stop trying to get my banned you wolly by making out how offended you are, u dont see bobby winging and moaning etc,Paul22 wrote:Blank, why not open a thread to see how many people would prefers Robs contributions to the forum than your own. I wouldnt advise trying to come on here sounding 'clever' we are all more than competent, and more than capable of constructing an argument, I for one am deeply offended by your language, and I can honestly say in three years I have never been exposed to such profanities on this site.
you would be offended if you discovered the world was round

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Paul completed AAT a while ago and makes regular contributions to the forums and his threads are always worth reading. I plan on asking him for help an awful lot when I get to Technician. :P

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Come on Gem, I actually think it's quite interesting watching 'blank' bury him/herself...
Calling brummie Paul22 a doughnut is a bit harsh though - don't you know he's been doing loads of running lately and desperately trying hard to give up the fags...?0 -

I have the balls to say what other people dont ! what are you doing to help resolve this incident where a tutor gave out information to candiates that gave them an advantage0 -
Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Although this has been quite entertaining I think I'm gonna back out gracefully Rob :P

Then maybe you could rename yourself 'littleblobbyh' and become my fledgling? Nah, I don't think you'd cut it though 'cos when the going gets tough you resort to appalling spelling and even worse language. Not that I'm offended since I thought it was quite funny myself...
By the way - exactly who cheated? The tutor who may have actually been the invigilator? The college? Everyone in the class who took the exam? Should we throw them all out for having their ears open and inadvertantly hearing a supposed shouted comment that may or may not have an affect on their marks? You need to check your logic more before writing your thoughts down...0 -
Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
I dont think the students themselves are to blame, you cant help what you hear can you!! Its just the whole issue of either an exam invigilator or a tutor coming into an exam and telling people how many grams are in a kilogram, I know this was the tiniest issue in the exam, but it is still wrong to confer with anyone especially the tutor!!
I wonder what the person who originally posted about there tutor is doing now? Kicking themselves? or sitting back watching everybody argue over cheating. For all we know it could just be a rumour to start an argument :!:0 -

but then we have to assume the worst in order to be the safeest, its not fair to blame the students, but ultimately the college should bare responsibility thats my pointBy the way - exactly who cheated? Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
This thread is ridiculous and childish. I am quite surprised to see this kind of thing on a forum such as this one.
I hope Paul22 reconsiders leaving the forum as I think he is very helpful to students. And blank please dont bother with your obvious reply of me being an 'ass kisser' like you said to someone else. Your posts today are getting very tiresome and pathetic.

Guys - close the thread, and let's get back to supporting students.
Someone has posted on the Intermediate Forum about what is involved at Technician Stage.
Let's hope they don't look on here.

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
I think that the original poster had a valid point and that should have produced valid, adult debate. Unfortunately this thread has descended to playground level with name calling and hair pulling.
We are supposed to be an adult professional organisation and should act as so. We should be setting an example to newcomers to the thread, not descending into kindergarden.
We have a thread solely for letting off steam and having a laugh. Even on that thread we do not descend to the level of pulling hair and calling names.
It is time to close this thread, PM apologies to those that you have upset and above all,ACT IN AN ADULT AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER.0 -

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Well, I for one think it's been one of the truly great threads. We've been treated to forceful discussion, outrage, libel and hilarious insults all mixed in with the comical Forum suicide of the person known only as 'blank'.
I don't agree that this thread is a stain on the Technician character; if being a Technician means I can no longer sometimes write admittedly recklessly and forfeit my guilty sin of occasional wickedness, then I'd rather be back down at Foundation. We should all be glad to have a reasonably open Forum that isn't subject to crushing censorship (as some would have it) with people afraid to speak their minds. What would we rather have? Frank discussion and advice where it's needed or polite but weak words that will benefit no-one?
Besides, over a hundred posts and nearly three thousand views can't be bad and how many of those people criticising it are continually clicking back here watching for new comments to be posted?0
