Yes just looked at the PCR paper and the second half is knackered, i thought i was going mad under exam stress, that paper had not been written correctly. How can you work out data for the actual based on budgeted assumptions!?0

You divide the actual costs incurred by the actual production of 60,000 units, that is how to calculate the actual cost per unit as all the actual figures are variable. Hope that helps.0

I know what you mean. Question two has been worded incorrectly.
They should have either given you the variable or fixed part of the electricity cost as its semi variable! this is the bit I got wrong too!0 -
On my variances for PEV I got 3350!!!
84000*4.6 difference with actual costs (less closing stocks of 50,000 at 0.033) is this correct? or have I totally messed up!
