Can I claim back for fuel that shows on my clients bank statement as "Esso" etc without a receipt?? If so, how far back can I go prior to the current quarter?...although I have a feeling the answer is "no"... just wanted clarification please?!
Thanks

Mmm, I would say no, but if there are no other fuel receipts it might be worth going for! An awkward one though!0

If you have not got the VAT receipt I wouldn't make a habit of claiming the VAT back. Its a lesson learned for your client, keep all receipts!0

Thanks for replies... There are alot of cash receipts so probably won't take them then! What about recording them in the accounts as fuel (with T0 code)? Or is that the same thing?!!0
