Has anyone else tried manually checking the NI Contributions calculated through Sage Payroll?
I have had to reconstruct a payroll for a client today and I've discovered the Sage calculations come out at least 20p different each time. I've tried checking the Legislation settings in Sage for 2007/2008 and they appear correct.

I've just spoken to the AAT Advice Line. The reason is because there are two different methods for calculating NI, so there could be a difference of up to 33p each week! Shame the Inland Revenue didn't tell me that when I spoke to them!
