I'm hopefully going to qualify my technician level this summer and there maybe be the position of Financial Control on the horizon. Do you think it would be feasable for me to apply (after I pass of course), or a little too soon and maybe further studying is needed?

Apply see what happens!!
Your employers may respect your desire to take on more work.
You won't know if you dont try...but dont be tooo downhearted if they say they require someone with more experience in the job of finance control (pet hate of mine that phrase it is a cop out to so many htings!)0 -
I'm assuming you mean the position is for a financial controller?
If so, I would say you will probably find that they want someone who is CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with quite a bit of experience as FC is usually quite a senior position.
You don't say how much experience you have or what your current role is, so you may stand a chance if you have the experience. As jorja1986 says, you never know unless you try!0 -
It all depends on the job, I did work experience in a hotel and the financial controller was AAT qualified. It all depends on what is required by the employer0
