Hi,
I am just setting up, as a member in practice. But I am struggling to get anyone to be my professional cover.
I though I would try on the AAT forum, before I approach the local accountants in my area.
I am based in the Wolverhampton area, would be grateful for any help/advice!!!

Hello Pembo13
If you are doing this part time, is there a chance that you have no more than 6 customers? (you will need to check with AAT MIP if this is still the figure) as I believe you can apply to be exempt from having professional cover until you get more customers. All the details appear in the MIP application pack.
This may just give you more time so that you can continue working whilst you find the cover you are looking for.
Hope this helps.
