Silly question, but once your AAT qualified can you call yourself an 'accountant', or only when your chartered can you do this ?

Accounting Technician, although i sometimes call myself an accountant now, just cos it sounds good! haha.

ha yeah. I tell people I'm an Accounting Technician and they are like "a what ?".

i believe that the term "accountant" is not protected...

so in theory, anyone can call themselves one.
