Mentoring...

I find myself in the category of most using this forum, trying to break into the ideal role....I am currently studying the technician level and I have had sufficient sales/purchase ledger & Credit control experience through various agencies, and I know what they are all like!

I don't know how to create an effective CV and feel I am under selling my experience and skill set

I have recently seen a friend of my sister who is a Senior management consultant who is helping me create a CV and prospective covering letter. Now I am looking for a Mentor to help me on my way, someone with between 5-10 years experience, AAT qualified and studying a higher qualification in relevant accounting employment and has had the trials and tribulations of forging their own career.

I had an idea of advertising for a possible mentor in the Accounting magazine but posting on this forum could help.

Is their anyone registered on this forum that fits this description, and if so can they please make themselves known?
