I thought it was easier than the past exams, being only one F/O variance! :thumbup1:

yea didnt seem too hard, i thought there was quite a lot of questions and i thought 1 of them might have been wrong. best not say any more though dont know what time we can talk about them properly0

Thought the last question was hard....... remember doing that in intermediate?? Rest of it was ok though.... easier then i thought! Hopefully thats what the results say in Feb??0

I was the same, but then for the last part of section 2 i just put down a load of workings and just hope that they can pull something usefull from it??? Fingers crossed x0

For the last question I did part B, where you had to calculate how much you would save on labour rate?
Then just said after working out section B , I put I would invest as you would save so much just off the labour hours being reduced?0 -
did anyone else discount their depreciation? I did, by think I made a massive mistake in doing so!!0

I had two zero variances material usage and labour rate if I can remember rightly!!0

I had the two same NIL variances also!!
Put me off also , as never seen that before.
But the question did say calculate the variances, IF ANY. so then I thought there must be at least one for them to put that.0 -
My mistake is i never read the qu properly, so didnt see that..... oops never mind, seems i got it the same as most others so thats ok:)0

still don't know why I couldn't get it to balance. Can anyone tell me the variance for fixed overhead efficiency variance the absorption rate confused me as it was either £30 or £32.50......0

something in the region of £100000-£200000 can't remember the exact figure.0
