I thought it was easier than the past exams, being only one F/O variance! :thumbup1:
A lot of writing required elsewhere though.

Nicola, which one? The one where you compared the lifecycle costs against the savings?0

:001_unsure: First section ws great, not too confident with last 2 questions section 2, will it be a possible fail for the whole paper?0 -
Couldn't get my variances to reconcile... Also wrote alot of dribble for the reports etc...0

6 minutes and we can discuss yeah?0

I couldnt get my variances to reconcile! Wasnt very confident!
And the last question on section 2 I didnt understand! Couldnt do that one0 -
I was the same, but then for the last part of section 2 i just put down a load of workings and just hope that they can pull something usefull from it??? Fingers crossed x0

For the last question I did part B, where you had to calculate how much you would save on labour rate?
Then just said after working out section B , I put I would invest as you would save so much just off the labour hours being reduced?0 -
did anyone else discount their depreciation? I did, by think I made a massive mistake in doing so!!0
-
Got 2 zero variances.... anyone else? Really put me off, never seen that before!0
-
depreciation for what?0
-
I was thinking the same, didnt do anything with depreciation0
-
I had two zero variances material usage and labour rate if I can remember rightly!!0
-
OK, must have made some silliy mistake then.
Yeah - got two nil variances - most people did though so think its all good!!0 -

Aye
What reconciliations were there? Whoops, may have missed a question :mad2:0 -
I had the two same NIL variances also!!
Put me off also , as never seen that before.
But the question did say calculate the variances, IF ANY. so then I thought there must be at least one for them to put that.0 -
My mistake is i never read the qu properly, so didnt see that..... oops never mind, seems i got it the same as most others so thats ok:)0
-
anyone remember what they got for the lifecycle cost?0
-
