So, Carol Vorderman is to head a up a Tory Task force into maths education. Surely this amounts to a conflict of interests. If people understand maths better they would be less likely to try and solve their debt problems by going to these bunch of loan sharks like she does her best to persuade them to.

Though looking from the other side maybe the maths does work; people's misery = big cheque for Carol. Kerchingggg!

I dont even know why we need a maths task force and if theres one thing that would turn me off maths its that lollipop headed goon trying to tell me to do it, in between her mouthing off about how fab detoxing is, how great a 3000% loan would be and looking disturbing like Myleene Klass's mum.

I don't like Carol Vorderman, I do hope it doesn't show too much:laugh:

I'd forgotten about the detox quackery. Another reason to despise her. She's not quite there with "Dr" Gilllian McKeith, the entire journalistic staff of the Daily Mail, creationists and anti-vaccination zealots in heading my "first against the wall come the revolution" list but she's getting close.
