My Dad's coming over to stay from Ireland. That will be nice provided we don't get anymore snow. Won't be so nice if he has to spend the weekend at Stansted airport.0

My Dad lives in Ireland but he wont go anywhere for anyone.
We have to visit him. I tell everyone I have activity holidays, they conjure up images of me sailing, moutaineering or skiing. The truth is I clear Dad's guttering, do some gardening, rebuild a few dry stone walls and a spot of painting. If I'm good he takes me for a pint. Deep joy.

My Dad's brilliant. He came and looked after my 3 kids while I took my husband to Egypt to see the pyramids for his 40th.0

I will be going for a very long weekend to Disneyland Paris...... Will be tucking into pizza in the shape of Micky Mouse with dear hubby and my youngest this time tomorrow. Then back to the hotel to soak my feet !!

Certainly not been roped into the hyped up over priced 'celebrations' that come with valentines day!! :-)0 -
I have to be honest, I had completely forgotten it was Valentines Day when I started this thread. That's what happens when you've been together 23 years!! Mind you, last year I did hide a soppy bar of chocolate in hubbys brief case which he found once at work. He actually seemed quite pleased.0

Well my lady gets a three course meal most weekends, so I do know how to turn the charm on :-)0 -
