Yeah, and today I'm having a very lazy day. I have nothing that has GOT to be done today and am supposed by getting on with my office. I've emptied it again and am supposed to be looking for sandpaper in the garage but can't keep off here!
It's in the second drawer on the right but watch out for spiders....lol0 -

Turkish food is the best. I also like Vietnamese food and Chinese as well. I think you are so right saying Happiness is something to do, something to love and something to hope for. Where did you get that phrase from?
Stop it, you're making me hungry. Got the quote from Google, where else? lol0 -

Sorry, Tracey. I have never been to Germany. What is Gluhwein? Is it an alcohlic drink? Also, what are bratties? Are they children who have been naughty all year and don't get anything from Santa?0

lol made me giggle
gluhwein is like mulled wine but way better. you can also add an extra slush to it like rum or brandy - warms your cockles on a cold night.
Bratties (although i love your description) are big sausages and you eat them with a dab of senf (mustard) mmm mmm mmm0 -
Bratties...as in bratwurst sausages....available in Aldi and sometimes in Asda. The Aldi ones are nice. I used to get them on the American bases when I was in the RAF, just a few years ago(1970's)0

What have you all asked for in your santa letter......xx0 -
I am still too full from breakfast to eat lunch. I had tear ham, eggs, cheese, olives and sundried tomaotes. I also had toast and a large mocha coffee.
The only problem was bumping into one of my recruitment consultants in the cafe.0 -

I'm gonna come live with you, I just love that type of breakfast. Do you think you could be my long lost twin?0 -
Hi Jilt,
I think you and I are too unique to be identical twins.
There is a winter wonderland on in Hyde Park I might go to this weekend. They even have a German Christmas market there......
I have asked Father Christmas to be nice to me this year and bring me a nice, new job for Christmas. For my stocking filler I want a pass at DFS. In return I promise to work hard at my studying and not complain when there are tube or bus strikes next year and I have to walk to work like I did this year.
What has everyone else asked for?
What do you call santa's little helpers? Subordinate Clauses.0 -
Right got my traditional christmas carol CD on, sing along everybody ...0

What shall I ask Santa for? Let me think............... yes a pass in DFS would be nice Jayne; no hospital visiting for at least a year; steps from the decking so I can get into the garden to feed the birds without doing an assault course; and a big big bottle of champers to share with hubby on xmas eve.0
