Has anyone the list of standards we need to learn for diploma level please just the letters and numbers would be great.

Have you had a look at the syllabus? I know Clare's book deals with some standards that are only covered in the higher level chartered papers so definitely not all of them are covered at AAT.
When I did mine, there was a list in the syllabus. I did NVQ but I'm sure they do the same for diploma.
Edit: I've just done a unit 11 search and just found a list of standards and how much you are expected to know about each one, but unfortunately it's a word document so can't put it here.
If you can't find it let me know and I'll email it to you.0 -

yeah that was my problem i had the book but lots of info and wasnt sure what info to look at and was worried about an overload with everything else i have to learn but at 40% reduced price i think it was an investment for the future.0 -

A very good question. I too do have a printed list, but cannot attach it, so will put it on a post. For some reason I can only get the 2008 guideline on the website today but i do have the 2009 version saved on my laptop luckily.
So ....for anyone sitting DFS December 2009 and using 'A students guide to IFRS' this is what you need to know.
The orange chapters (all of them!)
The Framework(chapter 1)

IAS 8
IAS 10
IAS 16
IAS 18
IAS 37
IAS 38
The Green chapters! (not all)
IAS 12
IAS 17
IAS 23
IAS 33
IAS 36
IAS 40
IFRS 5
From the blue chapters
IAS 27
IFRS 3
IAS 28
From the red chapters (only 1 ..yea!!)
IFRS 8 (examinable for the first time this December).
