Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Yes, I think it's about time to start culling some black sheep.blank wrote:
you have 20 posts your opinion is about as valuable as a solar powered torch in the middle of the woods at midnightEmma79 wrote:This thread is ridiculous and childish. I am quite surprised to see this kind of thing on a forum such as this one.
I hope Paul22 reconsiders leaving the forum as I think he is very helpful to students. And blank please dont bother with your obvious reply of me being an 'ass kisser' like you said to someone else. Your posts today are getting very tiresome and pathetic.
Dont you have some sheep to attend to or some hay to bail farmergiles!!I think that the original poster had a valid point and that should have produced valid, adult debate. Unfortunately this thread has descended to playground level with name calling and hair pulling.
We are supposed to be an adult professional organisation and should act as so. We should be setting an example to newcomers to the thread, not descending into kindergarden.
We have a thread solely for letting off steam and having a laugh. Even on that thread we do not descend to the level of pulling hair and calling names.
It is time to close this thread, PM apologies to those that you have upset and above all,ACT IN AN ADULT AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER.
Your response, plus the fact that you hide behind the handle"Blank" leads me to believe that you are nothing more than an insecure bully who likes causing trouble. Should you wish to continue in the same infantile way, be assured that enough of us professional adults will be requesting that the AAT forum Administrator restrict or block your access.0 -

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
I must admit after reading all that I am slightly amused. But on a serious note I am new to this site but I use to work with Paul 22 and I will confirm he is no doughnut! (or however you spelt that) I also have found his, blobbyh and others postings very helpful as I have just finished my first year. So thanks to all of you!
Hope you have all chilled now!

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
Well, I know towards the end I was writing many of my own posts with a very mischievous sense of humour and I have to suspect that 'blank' was too since no-one could possibly be that daft! I even laughed out loud to myself when I saw the 'rude' names I'd been called. Offended? I get called worse by my kids. If anyone else says they found this thread offensive, then I'm sorry but I don't believe you. There are truly offensive things happening worldwide with people suffering horrendously through circumstances completely beyond the scope of our control so how could something as trvial as this possibly offend us?
I maintain that it is/was a great thread that came from nothing and turned out very entertaining in the end. I love stimulating threads like this and they make me proud - not ashamed - of being a member of this Forum!

Dont go Paul!!!!!
I for one have always appeciated your comments and advice and I think it would be such a shame to lose somebody like you from the forums.
Hopefully this is all down to the stress of the exams and things will calm down again soon.

Re:Re tutor giving information during PCR exam
I've just finished reading this thread and I am astonished at some of the insults to other members of the forums.
Paul 22 and BlueWednesday in particular are 2 of the most helpful contributors to these forums. I for one certainly hope Paul 22 continues to share his views and advice as it is quite clear students take his advice on board. They have regularly provided concise and well-received advice and suggestions over the years to help students and other members.
The "kilo" debate dissolves into insignificance when you consider the sheer lack of ability to communicate to other people without insulting them. Those posters hurling abuse at others should therefore consider if they are in the appropriate profession as hurling abuse at fellow accountants/student accountants, whether it be on the forums, by PM, face to face or by other means would almost certainly result in you being disciplined in the real world.
Kind regards
