Vic, please don't tell everyone that I dedicated the lyrics to "Any Dream Will Do" from Joseph to my little daughter. It's taken great effort to carefully construct my 'hardman' image on here and any sign of 'softness' will undo my years of work...
Didn't take long for my Facebook post to descend into the usual chaos though...0 -
I think what surprised me more wasn't just that you dedicated the lyrics but the fact that you knew them all off by heart and typed them all out!
You big softie0 -
it was sooo cute and as bluewednesday said word perfect0

I used to do the trip down here to see family regularly when I lived on the west side of London and that took 3-4 hours (except for the one time it took two days but that's another story) so maybe you're being a bit pessimistic there.
It's usually pretty quiet here over Christmas, New Year's Eve is another matter entirely though.0 -
Christmas will be travelling from family to family (Girlfriends and mine). Two of everything ! Dinner, alcohol, presents....drunken 70s dancing from the dads !! Plus losing the use of both arms from the only punishment to be left out of Guantanamo bay - The Wii !!!!
New years eve sounds good ! A massive fireworks display at the London eye ! Free travel from 11.45pm til 4.30am in the morning so cant be bad.
If you see me asleep on any carriage, poke me with a stick and give me a drink !!
HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!0 -

my staff xmas party is me and a bottle ...as being self-employed ..dont get much choice in the party stakes !!!0
-
well we have our staff drinks tomorrow night, so it is time for us to be waited on by the officers of the mess - usually quite fun and a bit disruptive, but nothing to put in the papers
my daughter is also home tomorrow, so she will walk in, quick kiss from me, then i am out.
The saturday the 19th we travel to austria for 7 days skiing, back boxing day.
New years eve is also a bit of a do in the mess and a stagger of 150 paces for me to get home
BRING IT ON
can't wait
I will have to show my face every day in work, but not for long
