    i hate snow but i am praying that it will snow so hard that i wont be able to make it to work tomorrow!

    It started here at 7ish this morning. Been on and off all day. Pretty wet stuff but there is a couple of inches lying now.

    I used to have a lady who worked here in my Office from Rochdale. I think she is back living there now! Is it a small place where you are likely to know her or is it a big place?

    I work in the town centre but it is a fairley big place

    It has been snowing in Rotherham again, we now have about 50 micron of snow on the roads, waiting for the traffic to grind to a halt...lol

    I had the most bizarre journey home this afternoon, in the middle of a snow blizzard, looked right and mucky coloured sky and heavy snow, looked left and blue sky and sunshine!

    Yeah we had a light dusting also, it's bloody cold and our boiler has decided to choose today to go on the blink, just when I fancied a nice soak in a hot bath :crying:

    Uh oh, got in about an hour and a half ago - no snow. Just looked out the window and we now have about 10cm and it'll very quickly be a foot deep if it carries on the rate it's falling at.

    Little chance of getting to work tomorrow and it's our flipping Christmas party which I've been looking forward to, had my best suit dry cleaned etc...

    lots of snow here. The kids broke up from school today, what a fantastic start to the Christmas holidays for them, I can't remember ever having snow before Christmas. Only pity is it came a week early

    Just got back in after nearly an hour of snowball fighting with my kids, cold and wet but happy! One o'clock in the morning but who cares?!!

    No chance at the moment, about six inches of snow from what I can see out the window.

    No trains and not even worth considering taking the car out as haven't seen any gritters since last winter. Completely gutted as the party was a feel good event after such a horrendous working year which has seen the company reduce to half it's former size.

    Got any snow up there yet?

    Not much no, snowed at teatime but only a light covering, problem is it's now frozen. Fortunately working from home today.

    Good news is we've got thr boiler going this morning :001_smile:

    Maybe if no-one can get to the party they'll reschedule it.

    How cold is it !!!

    Now that my cars in the garage i have to get the old public transport...by the time i got to the office this morning i looked like a human snowball !!!

    Anyone else been afftected by the human snowball syndrome this morning ?

    Well, did a beauty this morning,

    Started car, got out to wipe off the worst of the snow, as i climbed out put the windscreen whipers on, bam! 3 inchs of snow dumped onto me and the drivers seat as i got out......was not amused.....:D
