get something booked its only once a year ya know0 -
I don't understand the concept of having one specific day set aside to show your romantic edge. What happened to the other 364 days in the year!?
Saying that, I'm taking my gf to Colchester Zoo, not because it is Valentine's Day in particular, but because it is an organised day out to somewhere I've been wanting to go in a while. They just happen to clash.0 -

I'll join you in this to be fair! I got absolutely nothing planned and most likely the boyfriend hasn't either, so we probably just stay home and have absolutely nothing going on.0 -
Hotel and restaurant booked . Flowers about to be ordered for delivery !!0

The quiet ones are the worst, so they say!0

nothing romantic planned except throwing myself and my loved ones down a mountain on some bits of wood (one bit or two, depending on their choice) in austria. will be the 1st day of our holiday.0

Taskey, I like the cut of your jib. You are an inspiration!
What a brilliant idea! Throwing my loved one down a mountain!
(I can't say I really love the spouse, but the children would be bereft...still they bounce back so quickly, er the children not the spouse. Or do they? Hmm this will be an interesting thing to note. Will the spouse bounce back and if so how far? Must dash, will report back later...)0 -

Aren't I a "darling"
He sounds like my cup of tea! Care for introductions? lol0 -
Well, the spouse barely bounced at all. Made an awful mess, though. Won't be trying that again, well at least not with this spouse.......0

Get yourself some new spouse?
Did you forget to bound them on some bits of wood?0 -
Oh bugger! Ah well I'll know next time.....0

My partner & I aren't planning anything. We don't even give each other Christmas presents! Our annversary is in January so we figured it's a bit silly having to think of presents for 3 consecutive months and I think Valentines Day is a bit of a commercial day now. What happened to just being romantic anyway?
Oh and I've just paid for a holiday which set me back nearly 3k so it's gonna be better than Valentines already!
Hope everyone who planned something on the day really enjoy themselves!0 -
My other half and me have a competition for Birthdays, Christmases and Valentines Day Cards to see who can buy the "best" ie pukey romantic card..........although its more a case of "I want to win" rather than being romantic. I thought I had beat him at Christmas until he rushed into town on 24th Dec (Nothing new there then) and when he came back I had to put the lights out and he handed me the card. When I opened it it was a Loveheart covered in LED Lights that flashed on and off.............Damn he beat me and he had that smug "I won" male look on his face! :laugh:0

Wanted: New spouse. Must be kind to sons, aged father, dogs, cats, me. Cooking and cleaning skills preferred. Rich would be good too. Own teeth and hair optional.
Anyone interested?0 -

Except for the fact we know you want to throw us down the mountain bound onto a few wooden sticks...0
