Is everyone on past papers now?

I'm on distance learning and successfully passed DFS last June09.
I suggest to finish the book before going on past papers, you need to know the basic of the double entry and able to write reports using the ratio, by doing just past papers you will just learn automatically the layout of it, but if it suddenly chance, you could find yourself lost!
At this time last year I was going to start studying MAC. I started the revisions mid May.
Hi Londina
curious you said this time last year ie April 2009 you started studying MAC, did you take the exam for MAC in June0 -
i am stuck on the consolidated accounts part, just does not make sense. i keep reading and re-reading the same chapters over and over and it is just not sticking

Instead of just reading and re-reading the same chapters, go through some past papers, pick out consolidated accounts and just concentrate on doing a few of those.
They do take a while to get an understanding, but if you do a few one after the other you'll get the hang of it.
I'm not sure if there are any study tips in any of the AAT magazines?
I find that if I keep re-reading the same stuff I just go into a mind block!FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0 -
