Log on to AAT site to enter exams. Being realistic I know it's going to take a while. After all it's payday so have assumed I won't be the only one entering today. Try to enter, site freezes, nothing happens.
Call AAT.
Me: "Hi. Can I enter exams over the phone?"
X1: "Yes. I'll put you through. It might take a while. Is that okay?"
Me: "Yes."
(6 mins waiting)
After giving number etc.......
X2: "How can I help?"
Me: "I would like to enter my exams over the phone as I am having no success on the internet. Lots of people must be entering today."
X2: "We can't take payments over the phone. (!?!) You'll need to enter online."
Me: "But it's not working."
X2: "I can assure you that there is nothing wrong with the site."
Me: "Okay I'll try again later."
.............I go back to the AAT site and what do I see:
"Access to MyAAT services is currently being affected by high volumes of people accessing the site."
Really?! You don't say!
Call AAT.

Sounds a lot like the Virgin Media school of customer services: the default position is that nothing could possibly be wrong at their end and it must therefore be the customer's fault.0 -
had to phone them to get my centre put online so i could book my exams. all booked and paid for now DFS and PTC, followed by OMG!!!
