I received my confirmation letter on Tue and my Cert this morning, how about that for service. Last year I had to wait about 3 weeks for both. Perhaps they work through the alphabet and this year they started with z. Just looking at my exam feedback and it says DNM for identifying another method for stock, mmm I put down LIFO to show more realistic profit within a certain period and I also put avco as another method etc but not used as it is not very acceptable with HMRC. Did I get marked wrong then because I gave 2. but my answer was the same as the assessor, so ????0
-
Ok, silly question from me, did you confuse LIFO and FIFO?
That might just be the difference?
LIFO is last in first out and usually less correct, while AVCO is used very often and accepted.0 -
Thank you for posting this, I had no idea you could see the feedback, so pleased to see how I did. Was so lucky to pass business tax section 1, just scrapped it but had EXC for all paper 2 - wow!0

wow and the fact 5 times the same woman told me people who have passed will not have received any feed back and almost on the verge of making me feel daft makes me laugh.
Hey anniem you did really well and knew your stuff0 -
Well she's wrong!
I was a bit naughty actually, because of the hip replacement on 4th May, I couldn't decide whether to put in for the June exams ..... I didn't actually do any studying until after my op!!!
So had about 6 weeks study for both exams and I did a PCR revision course with Sandy!FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0 -
I got EXC in all questions in PCR and PEV - really glad, especially with everyone on here complaining about the exam, got me worried!!!0

DNM - Did Not Meet required standard for that part of the exam.
EXC - Exceeded required standard
MET - Met required standard

Where are you seeing this? Or have they not update your page yet to member status? I cannot see anything from my exams except the My CPD bit. Nothing about any of the studies I have done from AAT.
They still haven't updated my page yet - part of my online application was completed in January, so is more than 6 months old and needed to be re-validated. I phoned them yesterday and it should have been changed now ..... but it hasn't yet!FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0 -
As was rather concerned to see DNM on mine , how can you pass having not met one area of the syllabus?0
-
well rang them again and had to go through the whole lot yet again and guess what you lot are all wrong you arnt seeing your feed back lmao0
-
I've got DNM on one of my questions but passed. I guess as long as you over the whole section have a certain % it is ok. I always thought you didn't have to get a certain mark for each question, just each section.
From the look of it you need enough MET and EXC to pull the mark back up.0 -
-
That is crazy! Do they not read these forums? If they do, do they just think we are lying?!
Yeah ..... I made mine up ..... of course I did!!!!!!
They clearly don't know their a**e from their elbow. (Will I get struck off for that already???)FMAAT - AAT Licensed Member in Practice - Pewsey, Wiltshire0 -

I got DNM on PERFORMANCE INDICATOR on section 2 of MAC exam and EXC on Variance analysis but it didn't pulled my marks back up and i am still incompetent
For those who were interested in doing computer based exam just to let u know that it still takes 6 weeks to generate result on level 4 .0 -
i think this feedback thing is great!
kinda like a grading system but not
hopefully they will start to grade the aat because i know of some people in my class that passed when they had not had a clue about an of it
on the plus side we can print out our feedback and show employers all our EXC?0
