    right its time, i told myself i wouldnt scare myself with these threads but i cant keep away. first things first. mmm chocolate. seems to make everything better inc mac

    definatly. so the thing my mind went blank on was the variable costs. but everything else was ok. didnt realise i could write so much on variances

    oh i found it quite straight forward exam

    i was so nervous about the writing part and then if felt as if everything was in my head ready to get out lol

    yeh th writing did come out a bit explosive

    well the exam was quite fair ....... i dont want to go in detail lol ...... i have attempted the whole paper and feeling quite relaxed

    yes it was fair. lol was starting to think marga and i were the only people doing mac on here

    Got to agree was relatively straightforward....I think! Still bits in their that can trip you up but I think plenty of room to show that you had acquired some knowledge and ohopefully enough to get that pass in February!!!

    So glad it is over...hopefully my last AAT sat exam as just Unit 10 to go now and will start that post xmas!!!

    yes thought it was only us too doing the paper

    to be honest i compared it with ECR last year

    I did plenty of writing off in ECR and crossed over plenty of things and some tasks i didnt even know how to do them but i attempted as best as i could i didnt think i had passed.... but then i passed

    So MAC i knew how to do everything and attempted and did all the tasks and left quite happy so hopefully it will be a PASS for Valentine's day!

    nothing complicated in this one i got some answers i wrote it on aat exam documentation ... i tried to bring Question sheet as well but no luck lol

    thats what i read 14th of Feb 2011 in one of the threads here


    i think it is very unfair that they do not let us bring the question booklet home with us :(

    I ran out of time ahhhh
    found the paper fine and was disappointed with myself
    I completed all of section 1 not sure if I did this correctly

    and section 2 I think there were 3 sections I completed the first question but think I got 1 wrong
    Did some of the calcuations as was running of of time in the next Q
    and Did partof the the new budget in the third section but didnt have time to calc the new ratios.

    Am curious can anyone remember what they got for any of the answers

    god on the budget questin i went blind. could not see the figure i was after, then started getting annoyed it wasnt there, then found it and felt silly

    can't remember what i got for those. spent to long remembering how to do it let alone what i got

    Task 2.3
    after adjusting all the requirements and showing proper workings i managed to get
    net profit margin ...... 39.615%
    Return on net asset ..... i think it was more than 100%
