Help with Sage VAT Return
In error I've produced a VAT return inSage 50 Accounts, from 01.05.11 to 31.08.11. The figures are all correct cos July is the year end and no entries have been posted for August. I can post an amendement to the returns figures but can't find anywhere to change the dates and I can't submit it cos the dates are wrong.
Does anyone know if there's anyway I can change the dates without having to restore the last back up?

Does that version of Sage file online automatically?
If I'd done that, and all the numbers were right, it was just the dates that were wrong, I'd be inclined to file direct at HMRC online and manually input the figures with the correct dates.
Make sure you reconcile that VAT return in Sage, and then do the next one with the right dates - there shouldn't be any duplication in terms of figures included.

Yeah you can file online from it, in the end I diecided not to be lazy and keep it all tidy by restoring last weeks back up. Thanks Jenni0
