If a company had a year end say 31st March 12 and changed registered office say June 12, on the accounts and CT600 would you put the new address or the old registered office to reflect what it was at the time of the year end in question?

Many thanks

I don't put any address on either

But I would use the current one.

    Hi Noodles

I would show the new registered office address on the accounts but would not include an RO on the CT600.

I believe the address should be the one in place when the accounts are signed so therefore should be the new one.

Why would you not include the registered office on the CT600?

    Hi Dean

I wouldn't write it on the CT600 as it should be addressed to the RO when issued by HMRC. I would enter the RO if it had changed or was incorrect on the CT600 (or notice) issued to the client.
