I work in finance/accountancy and want a qualification. Is AAT suitable for me?

AAT

Yes. The AAT Accounting Qualification is a great way to demonstrate your commitment to your career, and becoming professionally qualified is a considerable boost to your CV.

Completing a recognised accounting qualification reinforces the skills and experience you’ve learned at work, and if your goal is to move into chartered accountancy AAT grants you generous exemptions for several qualifications.

As AAT offers a competency-based qualification, you may be exempt from some levels as a result of your existing work experience. A good way to find out what level would be most suitable for you is to take AAT Skillcheck.

Once you’re fully-qualified you have the option of becoming a full member of AAT, which grants you a wealth of benefits as well as the right to use the designatory letters ‘MAAT’ after your name.
