No, there are no age restrictions on studying AAT. As long as you have a keen interest in accounting and finance, AAT could benefit you - whether you’re 17 or 70.
An increasing number of AAT students are career-changers – and you shouldn’t underestimate the value of transferable skills and experience gained in the workplace.
You don’t need to have previous experience of working in accountancy – but if you do, you may be exempt from some areas of the AAT qualification. (A good way to find out what level is best for you is to take AAT Skillcheck.)
The flexibility AAT offers means you can fit your studies around your other commitments – you can study full-time or part time, and you can even study from home through AAT distance learning.
