Does AAT offer exemptions if I want to progress to study chartered accountancy?

Yes. Once you pass all three levels of the AAT Accounting Qualification, every UK chartered accountancy body (such as ACCA and CIMA) will grant you an exemption from the first level of its professional qualification.
This may be a partial or full exemption from the foundation stage of the course, so check with the accountancy body directly to see how many exemptions you could be entitled to.
