Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller – c£20,000
Main Duties
• Maintaining the cashbook.
• Journal entries.
• Intrastat.
• Invoice financing.
• Dealing with 300+ live accounts ranging from sole traders to large blue chip organisations.
• Dealing in multi-currency transactions to include Sterling, US Dollar and Euro.
• Sales Ledger including sending out monthly statements.
• Reconciled month end sales.
• Prepared paperwork for bad debtors.
• Resolving queries and raised credit notes where necessary.
• Cashier duties included banking and sundry accounts.
• Opened new accounts, set and assessed credit limits to be signed off by the Finance Director.
• Credit checks.
• Placing accounts on stop and release.
• Cash allocation.
