Skyline Tower Crane Services Ltd is an Essex based tower crane services contractor with the capability to execute UK and international projects from site surveys through fixed price contract erections, dismantles and the procurement of cranes and spare parts.
Due to our year on year growth we are seeking to recruit a full time Accounts/Admin Assistant to join our team.
Applicants for the job should possess excellent spoken and written communication skills and be highly organised. They also need to have strong numeracy and computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office and Sage 50 Accounts. Good interpersonal skills are essential as well as the ability to work on their own initiative.
Whilst a basic understanding of accountancy and bookkeeping are essential for this position, candidates need to appreciate the nature of the business, departmental activities and how accountancy interacts with other business disciplines.
Tasks
Will include but not limited to:
• Providing accounting and administrative support
• Reconciling financial accounts
• Maintaining spreadsheets
• Working with sales and purchase ledgers
• Sales invoicing
• Assisting in production of monthly management accounts
• Maintenance of project based management systems
Training
• AAT Certificate in Accounting
• Business Management
• In House Business Systems
• Sage Accounting System
• Office Procedures and Practices
Future Prospects
Skyline recruited against a similar job specification back in 2010. That candidate is now the Office Manager. Given this candidate demonstrates the same level of enthusiasm, commitment and learning, there is no reason why a similar advancement cannot be achieved.
