The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a diplomatic yet assertive collection style and will have a proven track record in a similar role, with strong attention to detail.

Main Duties:

Purchase Ledger duties include:

Entering and scanning invoices into Quickbooks
Ensuring invoices are paid per agreed credit terms
Account reconciliations, including credit card and petty cash reconciliations
Ad hoc cost reporting

Sales Ledger duties include:

Ensuring customers with credit terms, pay as per the agreed terms
Liaise with sales team – escalating payment issues where appropriate
Ensuring business terms and conditions are received
Posting of BACs payments received onto reservation system
Building and maintaining positive relationships with key customers

Qualifications and experience required for this role:

AAT Level 2
Excellent communication skills
Organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills
Team player
Well presented
Self-motivated, hardworking with drive, ambition, energy and enthusiasm
IT literate: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office, you will be trained on additional systems such as OSCAR
Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
