Recruiting an Accounts Practice Manager

We are looking to recruit a qualified experienced in a 'practice environment' accountant on a permanent basis full-time to work in our long established small practice.

Conveniently located in an office near Fleet, Hampshire, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain experience in a growing business with a wide variety of tasks, and will play a key role in the business.

Are you looking for the opportunity to gain further experience and exposure within an accountancy practice?

The successful candidate will possess a very "hands on - can do" attitude, be able to work on their own initiative and have a good general knowledge of how an accountancy practice should operate. An accounts qualification and experience are essential, you need to be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of Sales & Purchase ledgers, Credit control, VAT & PAYE, bank reconciliations and control. You need to be able to complete Self-Assessment, Partnership etc. Tax Returns, Limited Company Statutory Accounts etc.

You need to be proactive and have a proven track record in working in highly pressurized environments.
Duties will also include any task as requested by the proprietor and the role, while accounts based, is not limited to that function.

The successful candidate can expect to work in a friendly family run environment, with on-site parking and 25 days annual holiday. The importance of the role will be reflected in the salary and will comprise of a basic plus bonus structure.

The role is Mon-Friday 9am-5pm but timings are flexible to suit.
