Due to exceptional growth, our client NPW is looking for a suitable candidate to join their finance team in a Management Accountant role based in West London.
Our client is involved in the design of a variety of fun products which are suitable for any occasion. Products include: Party and Drinking, Beauty and Fashion, Games and Gadgets and Stationery and Craft items including the popular Moleskine brand. They pride themselves in offering innovative and entertaining gift solutions for any moment,
Job Description
Purpose: To assist with improving the management reporting/budgeting/forecasting capabilities of the Finance department and dealing with ad hoc reporting tasks.
Organisational Context: Working with the other Management Accountants and Head of Departments to develop a flexible reporting system.
Reporting Line: Direct line to Head of Group Finance, with access to CFO.
Ad-Hoc and regular reporting tasks such as:
Implement cost centre reporting for the monthly Management Information pack.
Assist with due diligence work and information requests involved with setting up asset backed lending.
Clean up and reconcile historical management accounts to the accounting system.
Aid with the implementation and testing of the update to our ERP system (Microsoft Navision).
Completion of P11d's.
Model the VAT cycle of the business and anticipate payments/repayments.
Assist with annual budgeting and regular forecasting processes.
Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
Design & implementation of appropriate financial reporting controls & processes across the Group.
KPI'S:
Production of accurate financial information in line with agreed timescales.
'No surprises' culture for management reporting.
Streamline and improve efficiency in financial reporting.
Proactive in identifying problems and taking ownership of solutions.
Consistently looking to devise solutions to issues and take responsibility for implementation.
Ability to challenge processes and ensure activities are being carried out in the most efficient manner.
Key Relationships: CFO & Head of Group Finance ; Senior Management Team (Heads of Departments).

The successful Management Accountant will have the following:
ACA Qualification Preferrable
Practice Background preferred
Strong MS Office Skills, including advanced Excel Skills (Including pivot tables and logical formulae)
Experience of ERP systems beneficial - Ideally Microsoft Navision or similar
Experience in building accurate, user friendly financial reports & analysis
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and able to multitask
Team player and prepared to assist wherever there is a shortfall in resource
Able to prioritise and multi task
Logical and systematic approach
Deadline driven
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail
Approachable with strong written and oral communication skills
Positive outlook and 'can do' attitude
Able to deal with staff with a diverse range of skills and personalities.
Ability to inspire and get the best out of colleagues within the whole business.
Ability to work well and gel with people and departments outside of Finance.
