Gravitas Recruitment Group is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their London based finance team.
The successful applicant will be based at 6 Bevis Marks, one of the city’s most impressive new buildings.
The ideal candidate will have an opportunity to be part of a growing team of finance professionals who are keen to provide excellent training and career development. Previous experience is not essential but the right mindset is.
Core duties will include, but will not be limited to:
Sales & Purchase Ledger
Raising sales invoices on Sage line 50
Timely and accurate posting of supplier invoices
Circulation of supplier invoices for authorisation
Reconciliation of all ledger accounts
Internal Payroll
Processing & approving employee expenses
Posting expense journals to Sage Payroll
Advising staff on expense policies
Assisting with other payroll duties
Treasury
Daily posting and allocation of all bank payments
Maintaining the petty cash book for 3 offices
Monitor and process transactions for 2 company credit cards
Banking cheques
General
Filing all accounts documentation
Monitoring accounts inbox
Logging invoices on client portals where required
Working closely with the Business Support team who maintain the contractor invoicing portal
Timely resolution of client queries
Cover for colleagues when on annual leave
Ad-hoc assistance in accounts related matters, when required
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
A desire to build a career within Accounting & Finance
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Awareness of, and ability to act, with absolute integrity, discretion, loyalty and professionalism
Confidence in dealing and communicating effectively with people at all levels
Good humoured and able to work in a close team
The role is suited to an organised individual with a meticulous approach to everything they do.

The role is available immediately subject to a successful two stage interview process conducted by the Financial Controller, Senior Accounts Assistant & Managing Director.
