From AAT to Degree ? But how ?

I am aware that Level 4 will give me another Diploma in accountant, am I right in saying that this Diploma has the same "value" as the Level 3 Diploma?

Also, my second query is, Is there anyway to "bump" the Diploma to a Degree ? Are there are other short courses to earn any "credits" (If the AAT Diploma's work on a credit system ?) to be able to obtain a degree?
