Job Description

To review and analyse the finance team activities in a Nigerian Joint Venture, working closely with the Group CFO and reporting findings to the Group Head Office
Introduce an extensive list of weekly and monthly reports ensuring the delivery and accuracy of the reports
To evaluate and/or introduce Accounting Policies and Controls
Continuous review of the company balance sheet identifying key issues
To gain a full understanding of the monthly P&L verifying the level of expense
To analyse and track all cash movements introducing daily operational cash-flow reports
Prepare strategic tax planning for the entity after gaining a localised knowledge of the taxes
To oversee and assist with the audit process (IFRS)
Ad hoc reporting and information requests

***Please be aware, this role will be based in Nigeria for an estimated 2 weeks per month. Travel, housing and other expenses will be covered by Logispin***

The Successful Applicant

Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA preferred)
Professional experience in accounting; planning, external reporting, internal management reporting
Exposure to accounting software
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and standards
Demonstrated good Excel skills
