Job Description
The successful candidate will be required to take overall responsibility for the maintenance and improvement of the group business forecasting model. As such you will perform a key role in the regular forecasting process of the group.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maintenance of Group forecast model, monitoring Group performance to target, profitability, liquidity and covenant compliance;
Analyse and report comprehensive, relevant and timely actual, budget and forecast reports and analysis for the business and finance management;
Monitoring and preparing new and improved reporting models, tools and KPI's;
Reviewing, identifying and interpreting business trends;
Performance of regular and accurate model updates;
Innovative and efficient re-modelling as required;
Engagement with the Financial Analysis team to interrogate and improve model assumptions and inputs;
Timely documented audit of the model.
The Successful Applicant
We are a looking for an enthusiastic and driven analyst who has a genuine interest in financial modelling and being part of the forecasting team of a rapidly growing and successful international group.
The successful candidate will possess an inquisitive mind and be capable of paying attention to detail whilst also appreciating the wider issues involved in financial analysis. Above all, we are looking for someone who will contribute to the team objective of driving forward the accuracy and reliability of their forecasting.
In addition to advanced skills on Microsoft Excel, a working knowledge and understanding of all primary financial statements is required. This role would suit a qualified Accountant with experience in modelling, forecasting and/or business partnering. Strong team-working and interpersonal skills and a dedicated work ethic are essential along with an attention to detail, a problem solving approach and excellent workload management skills.
What's on Offer
£40,000 to £50,000 plus bonus.
