Job title: Trainee Accounts Assistant
Location: Ribchester, Lancashire
Hours: Full time 9 – 5pm (day release for studying the Association of Accounting Technicians)
Holidays: 20 days annually plus bank holidays
Salary: £13,520 - £17,680 dependent on qualifications & experience
Job description:
Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the successful candidate will assist with running the finance function of the company. The role will be varied, but key responsibilities would be maintaining all aspects of the purchase ledger and assisting with the preparation of payroll.
Training:
As an AAT trainee, you will follow formal training through an apprenticeship framework for the AAT qualification.
By joining our expanding office team as a trainee you be able to study a professional and well recognised qualification, whilst gaining hands on experience from day one. You will receive excellent in house training necessary to assist you in your role, from an experience AAT qualified accountant.
Requirements:
• Ideally you will be working toward your AAT qualification, or be ready to enrol onto the course in September 2017
• Strong IT skills – particularly experience of MS Excel.
• GCSE or equivalent at Grade A-C in English and Maths (or predicted)
• You must be hard working, ambitious, with drive, resilience and enthusiasm for your work.
