I've received my invitation and despite the cost and hassle of getting to London I'm tempted to go IF I get the classic cap and gown photo. The invitation refers to smart dress but not cap and gown, I spoke to AAT and they said its down to personal choice, some do some don't, they said to bring it and pop it on for photos but its not that simple is it? Its bulky for a start, I may feel a little stupid if others don't do it and aren't you supposed to be measured up before hand? What is anyone else planning to do? Without the classic photo I won't go?

I think smart/business attire would be most suitable for this occasion but that's totally up to you0
