ACCA Entry Requirements

So I know that by having AAT Diploma level 4, you can progress towards ACCA. I'm a bit confused, due to the fact that on the ACCA site, they say that I need 2 A-Levels and 3 GCSE's to meet the entry requirements. I was wondering if by having AAT Level 4 nullifies this entry requirement and allows me to go forwards towards studying for ACCA without the 2 A-Levels.
Thank You

So they also accept 4 AS Levels A-E and 5 GCSE's A-C I take it?0 -
Ignore it. If you have AAT level 4 you can skip F1,F2 and F3. I believe the requirements you stated are to begin those papers.AAT

I was accepted (last week) by just submitting my level statement of achievement. However, I do agree this could be a little clearer5

Thank you again0

Was just the statement of achievement enough to get the exemptions from F1-3? Don't really wanna wait around 8 weeks for a certificate..ChrisJ30 said:I was accepted (last week) by just submitting my level statement of achievement. However, I do agree this could be a little clearer

Be ready to pay for the exemptions too. I can't remember how much it was but it was around £200.fournaanjez said:

I started my ACCA from AAT. I can assure you they are not free. They are around £75 for each exemption.ChrisJ30 said:AAT to ACCA exemptions are free.

What exemptions do I get?
Your previous studies may entitle you to exemptions from some ACCA exams, enabling you to accelerate your studies.
If you’ve reached AAT Level 4, you can move straight to Paper F4 (Corporate and Business Law) free of charge.0 -
I'm wondering when this changed. I didn't notice any notifications on it and checking my records I paid £192 for mine back in 2013.ChrisJ30 said:http://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/qualifications/accountancy-career/aat-acca.html

Perhaps you could enquire whether you are eligible for a refund?0

I emailed them, awaiting a response.
I will be furious if this has been in place since 2013 as I asked specifically at the time due to rumours floating around these forums and they flat-out told me it wasn't true.AAT
